How do you create a SmartList based on Salesforce Opportunity status?

How do you create a SmartList based on Salesforce Opportunity status?  I want to limit an email to only people who have purchased one of our products.

Use the Has Opportunity filter with the 'Stage is Closed Won' constraint.  You can select additional constraints such as Close Date or custom Opportunity fields to further filter your smart list.

Hi,

This is helpful, thanks.   However, I fear something else has to be done, but I don't know what.   Without the restraint, I still have no one in the smartlist.

Do your sales reps assign Contact Roles to Opportunities?  if not, then Marketo cannot associate an Opportunity at an Account with a specific lead and that may be why your smart list is not finding any leads using the Has Opportunity filter.  If there are too many Opportunities to update their Contact Roles and/or there are lots of Contacts associated with your customer Accounts, you should add a field (e.g. Account Status) on the Account record that would indicate that it is a customer and set up a process in SFDC to set that value to say 'Customer' whenever an Opportunity associated with that Account is Won.  Then you can filter on that field's value in your smart list.

I am filtering on a field that indicates customer, and, nothing.
