Campaign to exclude leads from a Program within an Engagment Program

Hi all,

I checked out Unthank's  great presentation on Lead Nurture. Unfortunately, only the slides were captured, not his screensharing.

When he discusses Adding two Exclusion Campaigns (triggered/batch), what triggers should I look for? Refer to Slide 17.

I set up a Send Email campaign, that will be used in the Engagement Program.

To exclude other programs that send this email, do I look for:

Campaign: Email Delivered
Member of Engagement Program = false?

I'm concerned that if the email is delivered, and my Outbound Progression status is also triggered off of "Email Delivered," it won't be a member of the mini program yet..

I've seen other instances when someone blasts an email, they change all of the program statuses to Exclude, that will use this email. That seems a little precarious to me as well.

thanks!

Re: Campaign to exclude leads from a Program within an Engagment Program

Hi Allison,

Without knowing more of your scenario, I can summarize how I have used the exclusion campaign a couple of times:

A. Change progression status after flow step;
Ex:
PGM A
Step 1 - Send Email
Step 2 - Change progession status: email sent

Exclusion Campaign in PGM B - triggers on change of progression status in PGM A

A variant of this would be using SFDC campaigns. if they are members of a campaign, you could exclude them.

B. Becurring batch using filter WAS SENT EMAIL that changes progression status to Excluded.

I hope this helps.

Best,
Alex
