On most Overview pages in the community, as Scott mentions, there is a section that shows a selection of Unanswered questions. For a full set of Unanswered questions each place has a Content tab where you can further filter by Discussions > Open Questions and sort as needed.

For example here is the link to a view of all unanswered questions in Products and Support

Pierce Ujjainwalla​ You can go to the Products and Support​ page and see Unanswered questions or click on Content in the secondary header. That being said, I think you raise a good point and I am working to make Unanswered questions easier to find. Should have something in place early/mid next week (or sooner. Thanks!
