Marketo Automatically archive policy

Hi All

I confuse about Marketo automatically archive behaviour.

According to the doc Understand How Marketo Archives Inactive Anonymous Leads ,

after 90 days Marketo will automatically archive.

But I can see old activities past 90 days over. Why?

Last week, activities between Dec. 20 to Jan. 16 were archived.

I can still see older logs. eg. Dec 17

I can't understand this archive policy.

Using REST API is same result.

Once archived, the activity will still be visible on the Activity Log tab on the individual lead, but it will not be visible in Smart Lists or Reports.

Hi Takehiro, Marketo will automatically archive most of the things in the list that you've linked to, but sometimes I also find some left over. I wouldn't rely on data older than 90 days to be complete information (ie, there may have been more web page visits that day), and I would expect that you will likely see these line items disappear at some point.

I think overall the article was accurate, but there are always some activities or data value changes that seem to "sneak through".

Ah, Cheryl, that makes sense! There have been random times that I've been able to run a smart list and come up with activities older than 90 days but thanks for the clarification!
