Unable to paste text into Rich Text Editor RTE

Hello, I am new to Marketo. The Landing Page tutorial clearly states that I should be able to paste text into the RTE like we are accustomed to doing with any other word processor. When I copy text from Word, a web page or from an email, I can paste it in ppt or another word doc but I can not paste into Marketo's RTE. Nothing appears, the cursor remains.

I am using Windows 7.

I had this same problem using Marketo in Internet Explorer, but I switched to Mozilla Firefox and copy/pasting worked.

Unfortunately, my companies IT department is not allowing the use of any browser other than Windows 7. I would love to hear from folks if this is a fundamental issue with Windows 7. Does Marketo not support Windows 7?
