Need to make our internal meeting private

Hi all. We are planning on streaming our quarterly all hands meeting from a new location and a question about security came up. Is there a way we can make landing pages private via password protection or some other method? A thought I had was doing individualized URLs but that might be more of a hassle than what we want to deal with. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Need to make our internal meeting private

An "unguessable" URL like pages.example.com/dc87b967-90d1-42cc-808f-e789ecae45c3 is approximately the same as a password-protected page with a simple URL w/a single global password distributed alongside the URL.   That is to say, not really secure but unlikely to be stumbled upon.

Other than that, to truly make things private requires some sort of audit and expiry infrastructure which isn't available unless you run things through your own servers. Oh, and running over SSL and not sending passwords over email.

You can do that as well as disable the page from search:

Landing Page > Meta Settings > Robot = noindex,nofollow

but this isn't SSL or 100% protected.
