Socially acquired line in program : how does it work?

Hi,

I have just noticed today (but it was maybe implemented a while ago!), that on top of the total members/ acquired by / success lines, there was a socially acquired line. Do you know how it works? I have checked on help articles but I cannot find an answer? Is it all leads who have become members of program because of the social buttons within mailing? because of social media (regardless of the fact that there were or not social media buttons on mailing)? does that include friends (from forward to a friend)?

The Socially Acquired field was introduced in Jan and provides a count of all program members who were originally acquired by a social app (Original Source Type == “Social App”).  We will enhance this to show the number of leads that were acquired using social assets in a PROGRAM in a future release.

Hi Raj,

I'm not sure I'm following.

Right now this field counts the number of leads whose lead source was any social media channel  (i.e. they have ?mktNetwork=linkedin/twitter ... in their first landing page url) but leads could have been created outside the program?

and in future this will only count those whose lead source is program + social media ?

Looks like you are using the lite social buttons that allow leads to post to social networks.  These interactions are not captured in the count of "Socially Acquired".  Only leads acquired using the following Social Apps are part of the "Socially Acquired" count -

1. Social Button
2. Youtube video 
3. Poll
4. Referrals

Today, the count of "Socially Acquired" leads for a program named "SocialPrograms" is the number of leads that qualify for a smart list like this -



The social app could be in any program, not just in the "SocialPrograms".  In a future release, the "Socially acquired" count will only include the leads acquired by Social Apps in the program.
