Webhooks for SMS Messaging - How are you handling opt-outs?

I've been experimenting with Webhooks with the goal of text messaging our leads. Since Twilio is now in Canada (and really does seem to be the best deal) I've been using them to test the process.

What I'd like to know is for the users who are doing this, how are you handling your opt-outs/unsubscribes?

Re: Webhooks for SMS Messaging - How are you handling opt-outs?

Jason,
The opt-outs happen asynchronously, so the Webhooks cannot handle them.  We do have an alternate method of handling the SMS opt-outs from Twilio.  Please get in touch with me - rrajamani@marketo.com for mroe details.

From what I know, Twilio can help Marketo send out messages but feeding data back to Marketo is difficult. It cannot track activities (ie. opens, delivery, etc.), opt outs, etc. Right now, our solution is to go into Twilio and manually drag out the CSV files as exports. I hope this feature is implemented soon!

Hi, I know this is a very old thread, but wondering if you could share more detail about exporting your list of opt outs from twilio...

Is it a built in feature within twilio, or is it more a case of copy/paste from a list in twilio and manually creating a .csv?
