Email A/B Testing - Help!

Hey friends,

I'm still somewhat of a Marketo Newbie and we're running our first big email campaign. We want to send out three different emails to the group to see which one is the most successful. I found a help article with instructions of how to set this up all in one program, creating three different lists and in the send email campaign you send different emails to the different lists. My only question is, can I still use the remainder of my campaigns - change prog status for opens email, change prog status for clicks link in email, send auto response & change prog status for fills out form, and change prog status for unsubscribe - also in this program with options for the different emails? I'm using the same landing pages, form and follow-up email for all three options.

I think this is probably a silly question and that the answer is yes, but just want someone to confirm this as we're sending this out to a big batch of leads and I don't want to mess it up!

Not a silly question and your intuition is correct - you can have smart campaigns change the progression status of the program members that are sent your different test emails in the same program. 

Since this is a test, are you dividing your entire list among the 3 different emails or only sending it to a few percent and will send the winning email to the remainder of your list that were not sent one of the 3 tests?

We will be sending out one of the three emails to each of the leads for this particular program. It's still somewhat of a test in general for us, the list is only about 300 people, but very targeted. so we'll split the group into 3 and send each of the emails to about 100 people.
