Yelp is looking for a top-notch marketer to lead our marketing to local businesses. Tens of thousands of local businesses use Yelp Ads to promote their businesses and attract new customers every day from Yelp’s 100 million+ monthly unique visitors. The Senior Manager of Local Business Marketing will be responsible for attracting tens of thousands more such businesses to Yelp’s advertising programs – both by supporting the local sales team with new technologies such as marketing automation, by leveraging email offers and by leveraging old stalwarts like direct mail.
Responsibilities

Acquire tens of thousands of new customers to Yelp Ads via direct email, online marketing and direct mail channels

Develop and manage the marketing programs for Yelp's self-serve ads program

Design, implement, test, measure and refine a marketing automation program to nurture and score leads for the Yelp sales team

Execute legacy marketing programs such as People Love Us on Yelp and Find Us on Yelp
Requirements
-
Successful track record at a blue chip company of acquiring business customers via direct mail campaigns and online marketing channels (affiliates, ad networks, SEM, SEO, etc)

Familiarity with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or Eloqua. Experience with either platform is a big plus.

Very strong analytic skill set to design A/B tests and analyze results at scale of hundreds of thousands of customers. Strong excel skills and experience with SFDC a plus.

Outstanding copy writing and presentation skills (you'll be doing these personally)

Detail orientation needed to manage 5+ parallel projects alongside inbound requests from colleagues.

Strong foundation in finance/analytics gained via consulting, MBA or a comparable experience

Small business marketing experience a big plus
