We're having a related problem because of nonuse of the "Forward to a Friend" button. 

We send out regular newsletters. The problem that we are finding is that our sales reps have forwarded these newsletters to people who did not originally receive them without using forward to a friend.

As a consequence, the sales reps activity logs are polluted. Not in and of itself a big deal, except that we aren't getting the new leads into the system and aren't tracking their behavior because of this. It just looks like our sales reps have been hyperactively clicking through our newsletters. 

What is a realistic solution to this issue? We'd like to accurately track our leads' behavior; we don't need to be tracking how frequently our own sales reps are clicking through our emails.
