Drop Down Values - Alphabetical Order

I have values for a Salesforce field in alphabetical order, but Marketo won't inherit that order in forms (i.e in Salesforce I get ABC on embedded Marketo forms CBA). Does anyone know of a way to sort my values?

If you pull up the form in Form Editor and select the drop down field, in the "Field Specific" section towards the bottom right of the page, there should be a line item called "Value list". You should be able to rearrange your drop down values by typing them out there in the order you want.

Of course! That makes a lot of sense.

But to be sure, there is no way to do this universally? I have tons of forms with this field now.

Are they typed alphabetically into Salesforce or do you just have the option checked to make them appear in alphabetical order?
If that's the case, what happens if you type them in alphabetically in Salesforce manually?
