Is there a way to set an expiration date on a token

I have a 4 week trial subscription lead nurture campaign in which I send the emails on Fridays:
Trial 1  no mention of expire date and it goes out on Friday.
Trial 2 mentions of the expire date which is 2 weeks from a Friday.  So if today is June 14 their expire date is June 28.
Trial 3 mentions of the expire date which is 1 week from a Friday.  So if today is June 14 their expire date is June 21.
Trial 4 mentions that this is their last issue. No mention of expire date.
Last letter is , you can still continue to subscribe…

So for trials #2 and 3, I want to automate the 2 and 1 week expire date so we don't have to look at our calendar and manually edit it each week, because our editors always forget to change that information, and it often gets overlooked in proofing.

Any suggestions on making it work?

Good question! I wonder if you can include formulas in tokens... Create date + 28 days or something? You might have to create a new CRM field that includes that formula, and then bring that field into the token. I'm not sure if that would actually work, just a thought 🙂

Thanks for the suggestion Kate.  I'll check and see if that will work.

Did the token formula work? We would like to achieve the same goal, a Token Date + 12 months, but I believe we will only be able to calculate the field on the Salesforce side, and then sync the value in that new field back to Marketo for Marketo usage.

Hi Brooke,

I had our list manager do the calculation field in SFDC but she couldn't get it to work.  So I abandoned the idea because it was taking too much of my time.
