Test Emails

Is anyone else's test emails taking forever to be delivered?

I hope it's not just on my end.

Our tests used to take a very long time (sometimes well over an hour).  We had our IT dept whitelist the IP that Marketo uses to send the test emails and now they come almost instantly.

I would suggest whitelisting the IP.

I know this was an issue yesterday (http://community.marketo.com/MarketoDiscussionDetail?id=90650000000PgTLAA0) and my emails that I sent yesterday morning STILL haven't been delivered (but all I sent today worked fine). I have a ticket into support... you shoul open a case if your emails are in limbo 🙂

A number of our customers encountered an issue with emails being sent out of Marketo today.  We resolved the issue and emails are being processed and sent out. We are working through a bit of a backlog, but should be back to normal levels shortly.

Wanted to provide an update.  The Marketo team is taking this very seriously and is actively working on a solution.  In the short term (tonight) we are adding additional capacity to increase the speed of email processing. Also, over the next two weeks, we will continue to optimize our infrastructure to prevent further email delays.

Riding on this discussion since it's the same issue - lately (August 2014) it's been taking very long for test emails to arrive in my inbox. It usually takes a few seconds but now it can take up to hours. Anyone experiencing this issue?
