how do i send an email to salesforce leads, but not include salesforce contacts?

I want to target SF.com leads only. Contacts are associated with clients and I only want to send to prospects (leads). How do I omit the sf.com contacts from my email blast?

Use the Smart List filter "SFDC Type" = lead
