POSITION SUMMARY
The Social Marketing Manager will be part of Winshuttle’s corporate marketing team and reporting to the Director of Communications. This person will be responsible for leading the use of social media to further the awareness of Winshuttle, extend the voice of our customers and drive thought leadership. The Manager will help develop and extend a social community and also enlist the participation of employees, partners and customers. Through the use of social media, the Manager will provide another channel to reach prospective customers and expose them to insight, experiences and education that will help facilitate the selling process. Keys to success in this role are an ability to identify strategic opportunities, build a roadmap, execute an ongoing set of initiatives, analyze the impacts of each program, and continually optimize results. The role is based in Bothell, WA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and evolve the company social media strategy as an integrated component of other marketing efforts.
  • Utilize social media properties to amplify the voice of Winshuttle customers in sharing their experiences and perspectives.
  • Advance thought leadership through use of Winshuttle executives and subject matter experts.
  • Create compelling and differentiating content for Winshuttle websites, landing pages, press releases, brochures, blogs, email campaigns, e-newsletters, ads, and other marketing collateral as required to support sales.
  • Integrate social media with our annual WUG conference, workshop series and trade shows or conferences to extend the company’s presence beyond the physical event while also generating increased attention for the event itself.
  • Adopt the usage of new technologies and platforms for social media as they fit with company objectives
  • Provide internal training and coaching to facilitate best practice use of social media and encourage broad adoption by employees.
  • Deliver regular analysis and reporting on marketing/digital activities.
  • 20% travel required.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 5-10 years B2B marketing experience; working with enterprise software preferred.
  • BA or BS in English, Communications, Marketing or other relevant degree or experience.
  • Strong project management / organizational skills; comfortable with numbers; excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge/experience with E-Mail, CRM and Marketing Automation tools; Marketo experience a plus.
  • Understanding of legal aspects and requirements of email and online marketing
  • Good technical understanding of digital analytics and the ability to pick up new monitoring and reporting tools quickly.
  • Experience with web content management tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal form.
  • Team player and self-starter in a high-growth environment.
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues in other departments and time zones, with suppliers and with company affiliates.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, operate a personal computer, visually inspect forms, conduct oral communication via telephone and in person, and occasionally lift and /or move up to 20 pounds.
