Moving from multiple workspaces back to one - anyone had experience with this?

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with moving from multiple workspaces back to 1 (or maybe 2-3).  We currently have six, each with it's own lead partition assignment.  Just looking for anyone who may have considered something like this or had reduced the number of workspaces down by over half.

Moving Leads to a single partition is very straightforward.

Moving assets to a different workspace is more involved, because you cannot move Programs with members. You will need to export members to CSV files, remove the members, then move the Program, then import the CSV files to add the members again. Also, you will need to put the Program (or any other asset) in a folder, then drag the folder over to the other workspace.

Finally, I don't believe you can delete workspaces, so they will still be visible to administrators (just remove the permissions to those workspaces for regular users).

This is just an overview, but I hope it is helpful.

Re: Moving from multiple workspaces back to one - anyone had experience with this?

Hi Jep,

I am looking at moving a number of programs from the default workspace to a new one to clean out the Default workspace so it can be used to triage leads entering the system. Is the export to CSV and re-import members still the best way to manage this? I am concerned about how to ensure nothing is missed out given the number of programs I have.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Hi Karishma, it is now possible to use the REST API to add and remove Program Membership.
