Identifying which content has been downloaded in alert email

We have an alert email set up to inform us when someone downloads content on our site. At the moment the alert email contains tokens for the lead's name, email address, etc.

I'm just wondering which token to use to tell us which form was filled out - i.e. which content was downloaded? At the moment we have to manually go into SFDC to see which content was downloaded. I know it will be a very simple answer but can't seem to find the right token in Marketo on the alert email.

Re: Identifying which content has been downloaded in alert email

Hi Jessica,

I had a hard time finding this as well. Here is how I did it for returning CONTACTS:

1. Fills Out Form <<Form is not Unsubscribe>>
2. Here is the message with the token (s):  FYI - This SFDC "Contact" Has Recently Participated in the following SFDC Campaign: {{Campaign.Name}}. {{Lead.First Name}} {{Lead.Last Name}} ({{Lead.Job Title}} at {{Company.Company Name}}) Email Address: {{Lead.Email Address}}, Phone Number: {{Lead.Phone Number}}

Good Luck!

Re: Identifying which content has been downloaded in alert email

We have a custom field for Download URL. This is a hidden field in forms. This is where we populate the download url. This makes it very easy to use for all types of follow-ups.

You could also make sure the form name or landing page name reflects the download and use {{trigger.Name}} (= form name) and combine it with {{trigger.Web Page}} (= landing page where the form was filled).

More info for tokens on: http://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000KywJ

We also have a field where we store the name of the latest content piece requested, which we integrate via token into the subject of the delivery email (along with the URL) and we integrate it into the alert email.

Re: Identifying which content has been downloaded in alert email

Thanks all - used the {{trigger.name}} et voila problem solved.

Will look into the other suggestions for more specific alert emails also.
