Recommended wait step for form fillout

We're sending out an email with the requested assets after any form fillout on our website.
I'm wondering about how much time do I need to "wait" for SFDC details (mainly lead ownership) will sync back to SF, so that I'll use them in the email signature.
Adding 2 minutes to "Wait step" to the email sent should be enough, or is it redundant?

Thanks

Re: Recommended wait step for form fillout

The default setting is starting a new sync 5 minutes after the last sync. The sync itself takes few minutes.

A lead filling out a form few seconds before the sync starts and that would be processed in the next sync.
If it fills out just after teh sync starts it will be processed in the next cycle and that may take in 10+ minutes to complete.

The default sync sequence is: pull deletes, pull updates, push updates.

A safe setting would be at least 15 minutes.

Re: Recommended wait step for form fillout

Hi Breno, is there any bypass for that?
I'm not sure I want leads to wait 15 minutes for their assets after a form fillout, just for the lead owner's details will appear on the signature...

If you add the flow step "sync lead to SFDC" after the form fill-out, then wouldn't that lead be synced immediately?

Correct, but what about the sync back from SFDC to Marketo? how long does it usually takes?

Re: Recommended wait step for form fillout

I find my sync to be fairly immediate...but to be safe and not confuse a lot of the programs, I usually wait 6-10 minutes.

Itay, I'm fairly sure the "Sync Lead to SFDC" will have to be completed before it moves on to the next flow step. To be sure, I would test it.
