Actions Menu missing in SFDC Sales Insight?

I just created a new lead and the sales insight window is missing the ACTIONS drop-down menu. What's going on here?

Whoop. There it goes. Is there a delay of some sort which prohibits the menu from being made availalble? Perhaps while the two systems are synching?

This is actually a cool way of telling when your new SFDC Lead/Contact has been synched to Marketo.  Until this is displayed, your team should be careful not to send emails via Send and Track in Outlook or an unknown Marketo lead will be created.

Is this something that usually syncs around the ~5min mark (like SFDC campaigns, and other items)?

Yes, but if it takes longer than 30 minutes you sync may be hung (very rare) and you should contact support.

I've set up a test by creating a new contact. It has been almost 2 hours and no sign of the actions menu... I'll contact support. Thanks for the advice.

Elliot,

Are you aware of any work-around to make these actions available immediately after a lead is converted to an Account/Contact?  The lead is known to Marketo at this point, so not sure why it has to re-synch.  Major hurdle in our sales team's flow if they have to wait 5 minutes to send an email...

You can force the synch immediately after the conversion rather than waiting on the every 5 minute (approximately) synch with Salesforce  by running the Sync Lead to SFDC flow action on the lead record in Marketo.  Not a great work around if you need to do this a lot though.  You might want to create an Idea about this in the Community.

Thanks Elliot.  Yes, this is a common flow for our Sales team so it needs to happen at every conversion.  They convert the lead while on the phone if it's qualified, then 90% of the time send an immediate follow-up email.  Asking them to come back to that Contact 5 minutes later is tough to do...  I've submitted a case as well, and no real options exist - I guess we'll have to make some process changes on our side to accomodate.
