Performance Report for Leads by Entry Page

How do I generate a report that shows the number of leads that were generated by entry page?  I would love to see a list of entry pages ordered by the number of leads that were generated from that page.

Thanks!

Re: Performance Report for Leads by Entry Page

Hi John,

Have you checked out the Landing Page Performance report? It lists all your landing pages along with conversions and New Names.

Conversions is the number of times the form on that page has been filled out.

New names is the number of new leads created by that form.

Is that what you were looking for?

Re: Performance Report for Leads by Entry Page

Thanks for your quick response Will.  Yeah, I did look at that, but what I'm really interested in is the leads generated just from entries to anywhere on my website.  So, for example I could tell how many leads were generated from my blog and other general content pages.

I don't see how to generate a report like that in the interface.  I started looking at the API, but it seems tough to get that level of data?

Re: Performance Report for Leads by Entry Page

Hey John,
Just a quick clarification question: How are the leads generated by your blog? Do they fill out a form there? Or are you trying to get a known leads original point of entry?

Thanks,
Will

Re: Performance Report for Leads by Entry Page

This seems to be more about lead source...Concider passing a URL paramater to Marketo when someone is new inbound. Few ways to do this. Let me know if this would work I will point you to right threads in the community.

Hi Will,

Yep, looking for the original point of entry.  The first URL they landed on.  Is that something that Marketo has already?  Thanks!
