Re: Calendar Files

Were your tokens created at the folder level?  If so, yes and it will be patched.  Also, tokens are only supported in the description area of the Edit Calendar File modal.  It looks like you may have put them in the subject line also.

Re: Calendar Files

I created them at the Program level. Good to know that only the description area supports tokens.

Re: Calendar Files

I do not see an issue with tokens created at the program level.  Do you have a support ticket?

Re: Calendar Files

I'm not a Support Contact and tried to email it in but it's been kicked back...I'll try to get it logged today.

Re: Calendar Files

@Jason - did you send yourself a real email to see if they resolved or was it just through send test?

Re: Calendar Files

I just created an email and added the {{my.Save the Date}} token.  The token has the HTML statement below in the Hyperlink Text field of the Edit Calendar File dialog box of the Save the Date My Token.

<img src="http://ww2.conductor.com/rs/conductor2/images/Add%2520Button.png" alt="Add to Calendar" />

In the sent email, the button displays beautifully and the link is decorated with the Marketo tracking code, but when I click the button a web page is opened at the URL (http://na-f.marketo.com/rs/conductor2/60/Conductor) with a 404 error and no ICS file is downloaded.  The URL looks incomplete.  I also tried this with "Save the Date" in the Hypertext Link field, and the link still displays a web page with a 404 error.

Any idea what is causing this?

Re: Calendar Files

Whew, I am glad I am not the only one experiencing these problems. If I click on the calendar link it leads me to an unfound webpage, and when I try to clone I get an error.

Re: Calendar Files

Cloning issue has been identified and is being fixed.  We hope to push the patch tonight.

@Elliot - can you give support a call so they can document the steps you are taking?  I am not able to reproduce this issue on my end but will keep trying.

Re: Calendar Files

Cheryl, I submitted a ticket and the response was that my issue is part of a larger problem that your engineers are currently working on.

Re: Calendar Files

My campaign manager says she tested it and that the cloning issue was not yet resolved.

Cheryl - my emails include a link (text) and an icon (graphic). This is an engagement tactic, we believe these types of links should be both visual & text based. Under the current setup I'd need one Calendar file for each type. The likelihood that errors occur between two nearly identical files is much higher than only a single one. I'd consider this choice to make the link text/image embedded into this widget very seriously. I don't think it provides best service yet.
