API Call outs 400K+ range Daily from Marketo

Yesterday I noticed our API Usage was at 968%.  I ran the API report within Salesforce to check the last 7 days of history and they are all in the 400k range and all coming from Marketo.  Do you know what is happening and how to fix?

I recommmend opening a support ticket, so we can take a look your Marketo instance to figure out what is goin on.

Check your programs that have anything to do with Sync to SFDC... whether it's ownership changes, adding to campaigns, assigning through routing rules, etc.

I think by default Marketo will use around 7k API calls per day, but your campaigns can blow that number up if you're not careful.

I recommend using the Campaign Inspector and search for SFDC to see if you can find a culprit. If not, Marketo support should be able to help.

Re: API Call outs 400K+ range Daily from Marketo

Good Afternoon,

Shortly after I posted the question, I entered a support ticket as well.  We have just started using Marketo and tried to launch one campaign but it wasn't successful so I'm not sure if the response from your support is correct.

There has to be something wrong or corrected and I just need to know what.  I've asked if someone from your team can look at the system so maybe you can help resolve the issue please.

Thank you

My issue isn't resolved.  I selected best answer but I guess that is suppose to be after the issue is resolved.
