How do you filter out anyone who has a task in SFDC?

Is there any way I can filter out anyone who has a task in SFDC with a specific subject line? I know you're able to do so on the opportunity level, but I believe you're not able to do so within an actual task/activity.

I'm asking because I am pulling a unique web page activity report for each of my sale reps. The data they're receiving is accurate but they want to refine the report a little more. They want to remove anyone who has a task with a subject line that starts with MQI. Is this possible?

There's a filter that is called "Activity Was Logged" that lets you enter a subject, and also a constraint that says "Is Task" -- so you can differentiate between tasks and events at the activity level.

Thanks, Matt.

Do you know if you're able to supress a New Task vs a Completed Task?

There's a constraint for Task Status but that doesn't seem to work for me.

Thanks,

Re: How do you filter out anyone who has a task in SFDC?

Getting activities to play nicely in Marketo is tricky, since they're entirely separate objects from leads or contacts. I'm not sure about the Task Status, but it's probably referring to only one or the other (i.e. a Task and not an Event, or vice versa).

As far as I know you can't pull in any custom fields for activities, so if it's not included in the constraints, you're stuck. The alternative would be some heavy lifting in SFDC to mimic fields at the lead or contact level.
