What are the implications of having the same munchinkin code on a page twice?

I am hoping someone can helpme understand if there are any negative implications of having a munchkin code on a page twice.  Will it double count visits to the page?

Background:  Some of the sites in our organization have munchkin code on them.  We are now rolling out Google Tag Manager across all sites for our org, and were planning on dropping the code into GTM to fire on all pages.  So, some of the pages wll have the code hardcoded in as well as the gode in the GTM container.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Hey Matt,
This is definitely not recommended.

It is possible that two visitsWebPage calls will be made, causing two activities to show up in Marketo.

It could also cause conflicts with one another, resulting in no activities at all. 

If at all possible, remove the first munchkin before adding a second.

As Will mentioned, this will most likely causes visits to be double counted. If you are using GTM, you can use Munchkin with it. Here's a help article on it:
