Demand Generation Specialist

Skyword’s marketing team is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Demand Generation Specialist who has the business acumen to efficiently analyze, present, and streamline data in order to increase customer acquisition. This is a role critical in continuing to grow an efficient, scalable global organization. The ideal candidate excels in written and verbal communication, possesses a passion for building relationships, delivering useful data, an affinity for technology, and a creative approach to problem solving. The position is based in Boston and will report to the Director of Marketing Operations, will work closely with other members of the sales and marketing teams. 

Lead Gen & Email Marketing
  • Build and improve the lead management process through Skyword’s marketing automation platform (Marketo) and CRM (Salesforce) to create emails, construct campaigns, report data, and perform other various tasks needed to drive effective marketing programs. 
  • Define, execute, and optimize lead generation campaigns. Ideate new and unique ways to reach anonymous and known leads.
  • Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance and improve overall program effectiveness over time.
  • Assist with the configuration and administration of the business intelligence infrastructure. Collaborate regularly with the sales team to discuss what’s working and understand trends within target markets and industries.
  • Create and refine lead nurturing campaigns to move prospects through the pipeline. Consistently plan targeted and personalized email campaigns. 
Data Integrity & Analytics
  • Analyze and interpret key metrics, recommend changes, and drive continuous improvement. Assist with the scheduling, updating, and distribution of corporate reports.
  • Maintain integrity of data within Marketo and Salesforce. Perform regular database maintenance to the leads pipeline including but not limited to identifying duplicate records and appending data.
  • Strive to improve email deliverability. Continually optimize email marketing strategies via personalization and A/B testing to drive the highest open and click through rates. Ensure the sales team is provided with essential information needed for lead tracking.

Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Must be a natural writer and able to effectively speak to B2B companies.
  • Position is based in Boston.
  • Previous experience with Marketo and Salesforce is a huge plus. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiar with and active on social media. 
  • Experience with blogging, email marketing, or lead generation 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
