Creating Email Templates for Your Audience To Use and Send on Their Behalf

Do any of you run campaigns where, perhaps in a B2B environment, you've set up an email template for your business clients where they put in their contact info into a form, it gets populated into a document, and then they send out their document to their client list?

I don't know if there's a particular term to describe this.  I'm trying to research how we might be able to do this, and if it's something we do through Marketo or through our website.

Just looking for some peer feedback on this type of campaign.  Thank you!

Are we talking about a direct mail piece or an email.

You can do this, but it might be tricky with email addresses and spam laws.

Are you trying to do this in Marketo or SFDC?

Re: Creating Email Templates for Your Audience To Use and Send on Their Behalf

Well, I'm not even sure.  At first I thought it was a form that we could have on our website, that would spit out a PDF or something that could then be forwarded on.  But our web team didn't think it was possible.  So, I wanted to see if it was something we could do in Marketo.

In terms of SPAM laws, it wouldn't be coming from our organization.  We work with brokers, and we'd intend this piece to be individualized to the broker to go out to their own contact lists, through their personal email or what have you.

Perhaps it's a failure of imagination right now, but I don't even know what other types of examples of this are out there.  My team here is convinced this happens all the time, but they can't share any examples.  So, I'm trying to put it out to the community here to see if anyone was aware of anything like it.
