Editing Email Dynamic Content

We have been utilizing dynamic content more recently and have found something that has become a little irritating. We will create the dynamic content in our emails and have it set up for all our segments and get the final approval from stakeholders, however if they have something they need changed I can't fix it without removing the dynamic content. Is there a way to edit the content after you have it set up and say close the email? Or do you have to make the element static and re-do the whole thing?

That doesn't sound right.

You should be able to use the right hand bar to select the correct segmentation to adjust.

You should also set an approval process such that you do not load copy until everyone is signed off.

Re: Editing Email Dynamic Content

Josh,

I can adjust the copy when we are setting it up and getting everything together. The problem comes when we go for one final approval from stakeholders because the format could differ so a sentence needs to be fixed to remove an orphan word or something small. The goal is to have no changes but inevitably we do. I took a video of what I've tried doing and if there is a way that would be great. If not we will just have to deal with it or tell people not to make changes.

Re: Editing Email Dynamic Content

When you go back in to edit the email, the editor is always going to default into the All Content view. You'll need to choose the Dynamic Content view in the right sidebar. That will get you back to the list of segments so you can edit each one.
