Re: Acquisition Program Name and Date Not Automatically Set

Actually, there is a way to change the AP even after it has been assigned. You have to just remove the person  (Change Status -> Not in Program) from the assigned program and the AP value will become empty.

Re: Acquisition Program Name and Date Not Automatically Set

Hi @Dan_Stevens_ and @Grégoire_Miche2  !

For New People Created that DO NOT have an associated Acquisition Program, it appears they will correctly show blanks in the AP and AP Date fields. This however leads to incorrect updates when AP and AP Date conditionally update when blank and skews reporting new names, based on the suggested flow steps.

Have you ever recommended or heard of users who fill AP with default values to prevent from this conflict?  I'd considered potentially backfilling all blank AP Dates = Create At, and AP = No Acquisition Program.

Re: Acquisition Program Name and Date Not Automatically Set

Hi Dan, I assume you would not need to CDV flow on AP for an Email program, since you already have acquired the person?, but you would still leave the other flows to stamp the last program?

In other words, only stamp AP for programs that actually can generate new people. E.g. any program with a form, or typically has people imported (list import programs, events, tradeshows).

Am I right?

Hi Sean,

better open a new thread to get a quick answer, rather than reopening an old one.

Re: Acquisition Program Name and Date Not Automatically Set

Hi Dan, I have the same problem where we are using a marketo form embedded on our website which was not tracking the Acquisition Program and name along with Acquisition Date. I did exactly what  you showed here but still didn't work. Am I missing something in my Smart List of Flow:

James - can you share the Activity Log of your test lead record?  And is AP empty for that lead record?

Dan, yes the AP is empty. Attached is the activity log of a lead that filled out the form.

What about your Schedule tab - can leads qualify more than once (or was this test lead the first time it ran through it)?

Re: Acquisition Program Name and Date Not Automatically Set

I didn’t think of that. It is set for each person to run through the flow once. So if that is the case, if a lead fills out the form the first time, the AP and AD will be set, but If they come back again and fill it out again, it will not provide the AP and AD?

I tested the form out and originally the AP and AD did appear. I went back a couple of weeks later and tested it again because there was a decline of activity, and when I tested it again, with a different email, that is when I noticed the AP and AD did not appear. Is it because Marketo is tracking my computer and not my email, and since I signed up using the same computer but different email, the AP and AD would not appear?
