Probably the dumbest question ever about {{member.webinar url}} for GTW

What the heck do I put in as the token value? I'm using a Text token.

You don't create the token. It's managed by the integration.

Hey there - totally not a dumb question!

The token auto generates based on someone's registration. The token is unique. Here's how to see it in action:

  1. Create your webinar program
  2. Link your webinar program to GoToWebinar
  3. You can register for your own webinar via Gotowebinar's form or your Marketo landing page
  4. The automated email will then send to your inbox with your tokenized link at the bottom (your master template has this link already embedded in this email)

Marketo mentions this token in the Tip section near the bottom of the page linked below:

Create an Event with GotoWebinar - Marketo Docs - Product Documentation

"To populate your confirmation email with this unique URL, use the following token in your email: {{member.webinar url}}. When the confirmation URL is sent out, this token automatically resolves to the person's unique confirmation URL.

Set your confirmation email to Operational to ensure that people who register and may be unsubscribed still receive their confirmation information."
