How to add Google Analytics or GTM or Google Ads tracking code to Landing Pages?

Hi,

I see discussions on queries or challenges in adding the tracking code but I'm looking for steps and if possible screenshots on how to add the Google tracking codes on the Marketo landing pages.

Thanks for the help.

Why don't you share the problem you're actually encountering?

Adding analytics snippets -- whether GA, AdWords, Bind, Zedo, Dotomi, whatever -- to Marketo Guided LP Templates is truly no different from adding the same code to a generic HTML page.

Sure, so what I don't understand is where I can edit the HTML code of the page?

1. I don't see an option to edit HTML in the drop-down list of the landing page options (Image 1) like I see in the email settings (Image 2)

2. I know the page is .html but what is the way to add a code/tag in it?

I know these are very basic questions but I would really appreciate if you can answer them.

Personally, I've always just pasted the tag into the template code, rather than individual landing pages. You'll need to access the template in design studio to do this.

Quite agree. There's no reason to have this be at the page level -- if pages need truly different tracking code/pixels, that's a sign they should have different templates.

Yes - seconding the additional templates if additional code required. Or tokens - this is how I often handle it for email tracking scripts. I'm always in favour of automation over manualation... remove as many repetitive manual processes as possible!
