I am trying to set up a FTP of some type to export data out of Marketo in an automated way. Has anyone accomplished this?

I am trying to set up a FTP of some type to transfer data OUT of Marketo- has anyone found a way to do this in a automated way? Whether you used a custom solution from Launchpoint or went through the Professional Services Team, etc.

Please move the thread to Products. "Community" is for issues with the Marketo Nation itself -- and yes, this is confusing.

When you say "of some type," if you mean it doesn't literally have to use the FTP protocol, the Marketo REST API (an HTTP-based API, naturally, not actually FTP) has a wide -- yet not end-to-end -- set of methods for extracting data.

Some people use canned services to extract data, others build their own. But what's critically important is that you model exactly what you want the output to look like first, because some types of data and data relationships are difficult, even impossible, to extract, while others are straightforward.

You won't be able to export all data/reports/configurations that are usable from the Marketo app platofrm. But if you take care with your requirements, you can see what can and can't be accomplished.

To export Marketo data to FTP in an automated way take a look at Skyvia data platform which is available at Launchpoint.
