Removing someone from a smart list in a nurture

I am creating a nurture for leads. If the lead converts, how do I make sure that they are removed from the email flow?

Use transition rules or a smart campaign (preferred approach) to either move them to another stream or pause them from the entire EP.  You want to avoid removing people from an EP as it will impact your ability to report properly.

Re: Removing someone from a smart list in a nurture

I was planning on using a smart campaign instead of a engagement program because I wanted to have the cadence more frequent than once/week. Is there a way to chance the cadence to more frequently (once/day or once every two days) in an EP?

Thanks for your help!

Doable using an Engagement program.

Have 1 stream that has all the content and sends weekly on M-F at like 9am and another stream with nothing in it. Create a smart campaign with recurring schedule for daily M-F at 11:59 pm, smart list is member of EP + constraint Stream is stream 1, flow is change EP stream to Stream 2, wait 1 hour, change EP stream to Stream 1.

Essentially you're shifting people out of the sending stream and back into the sending stream which apparently refreshes the next send. The wait 1 hour isn't necessary but probably helps marketo utilise system resources better.

To stop converted people from receiving emails, you can create a third stream and use a trigger smart campaign to move people into that stream.
