Do tokens not work inside of tokens?

For an email, I created a token which contains the copy used in the email.  Within that I have "please click here to contact me". I want to use a token {{lead.Lead owner email address}} in the contact me link.  It does not work.  Any thoughts?

Yeah, no token-ception. We do one pass through and do the replacement, and it doesn't know to keep scanning over again.

Love the idea of token-ception. How do we make this happen?

Like this idea and the third comment listed here: https://community.marketo.com/MarketoIdeaDetail?id=08750000000JdjuAAC

Token-ception is liked, but complicated...

Yeah, the complication is that we don't know the depth of layers, plus doing multiple passes on Token resolution would slow down email sending.

So, I believe there is at least one exception to the "no tokens inside of tokens" rule.

If you are using an event integration, the {{member.webinar-url}} token WILL work inside a calendar token.

I have confirmed this with ReadyTalk support and you sign up for this test event, you can see it in action.

I wonder if there are any other expeptions?
