Does Marketo collect the email client data (e.g., Outlook 2013, Gmail, etc.) for users who open our emails?

Is email client data available within Email Insights? I see OS, but not email client.

The data is both collected and stored. Like countless other items in Marketo (form posts, custom objects, and query strings are just 3 prominent examples) it's usable in specific areas of the app, but is not considered first-class data for reports.

Thank you, Josh ~ so it looks like Marketo DOESN’T track email clients (in addition to Device, OS, and Browser).

That's not entirely accurate. Marketo does track the User-Agent and it can be accessed if you download the raw Activity Logs. However, from a canned reporting  standpoint, not everything that's logged has a report.

If Marketo retains the data but does not offer a simple report solution for this data... then what she said is quite accurate.
