So - just to make sure I follow -- you uploaded a static list of accounts to the Account Lists and then are trying to use them in a segmentation? Or are you trying to sync over a field value from Marketo? We'll need a bit more information to know the process.
We have static lists we've created in all of our campaigns/programs within Marketo. In Web Personalization we'd like to create a segment of a list we have from campaigns/programs within Marketo. I'm tying to understand where the "static lists" within Web Personalization are pulling from. I'm not seeing any lists from our Marketo campaigns/programs.
Hope that helps.

TBH, I've never used this feature before -- but I see what you're saying, I can only find a few lists and they seem to be 3 years old... here's a workaround I've done in the past:
You can sync a FIELD over to RTP in the database tab of the Account Settings -- I've utilized this as a way of a 'static list' functionality.
For instance - create a new field in Marketo for "downloaded XYZ whitepaper" -- then from your static list, run a 'change data value' flow step to flag each of these users as a boolean value for "downloaded XYZ whitepaper" -- then you can sync that field to RTP and use it in your segmentations.
meanwhile, I'll open a ticket to see what's up with the list pull...
Hi Donte,
I'm curious as to how you're seeing Static Lists in Web Personalization. I can see when you create a new segment you can bring Static Lists into your logic, but are you seeing a drop down menu of the static lists in your Marketo instance, or do you have to populate the name of the list? I am seeing that you have to populate the name of the list (that there isn't a drop down select from).
Thanks,
Carrie
Yes, In segments under"known profiles" there's the option to include a static list(s). There's no drop down, but if you click inside or start to type, whatever is available will be shown in a list.
In my scenario, all we see are archived lists from 2015 and a few advertising lists that are active. Marketo said they would have all lists populated by today, hopefully. If I hear back today I will update this thread.
Hope that answers your question.
Best,
Donte
This is a new feature just released in the latest push. Their servers are still copying over to the RTP servers for another week or two. I was told we should see all lists by 4/23.
Is anyone still experiencing this issue? I just tried to create a static list segment and I'm still limited to lists from 2015. I was told this was supposed to be resolved but waited til today since I saw JD's response in this discussion.
Hi Ellen,
I have not tried it today, bu t it was still an issue 5 days ago.
May be a ticket to support might help.
Keep us posted.

Marketo expected to have it resolved by tomorrow. I'd check back Wednesday if it's not. Any static lists you need them to upload for you, they can do manually if asked.
We have been working with them with a support ticket. The good news is that they have found a fix to the issue. They are just doing final testing to make sure there are no bugs. Should be up and running in the next day or two!
Hi JD,
I attended your presentation at Summit; it was very informative! Just wondering if you know if there is a lag in when you create the static list and when it shows up in Web Personalization. I am not seeing the static list I created this morning yet.
Thanks!
Carrie
Just confirmed that there is a lag. It was roughly 20 minutes between when I created the smart list and when I saw it in Web Personalization.
ah - good to know. I haven't fully implemented my first campaign with this yet (had to wait for Summit to be over to get back into the swing of things). 20 min seems pretty good -- especially when considering that previously syncing a data field would take 24-48 hours. I'm excited to use this; it's going to simplify segmentations like I can't believe!!
Wanted to ask how long it takes for static lists to populate in Web Personalization?

It took about 20 minutes for a new static list to show up in Web Personalization for me when we tried it last week.
Thanks. It’s working now.
My timing was about the same.

By chance, does the list exist in another workspace/partition; and it's not shared in the partition where you're creating the segment? What is an "RTP static list"? Is it something special for Web Personalization (and different from a regular static list?
