How to add existing smart campaign to marketing calendar?

Frequently, I create a program and its underlying smart campaigns and then want to add at least one of the smart campaigns to the Marketing Calendar.  When a program's Schedule view is displayed, I can create directly in the Calendar smart campaigns (with and without email) and custom entries such as for creating graphics, content, etc.  However, I haven't been able to find a way to add an existing smart campaign to the calendar.  I'd think the Campaign Actions menu would have a 'Add to Marketing Calendar' function and/or you could drag and drop the smart campaign onto a date when in the Schedule view, but neither is available.  Does anyone know if this can be done?  If not, I'll add an Idea for this.

Hi Elliott,

I was under the impression that batch SC add automatically to the Marketing Calendar when they are sheduled. Isn't it the case ?

Hi Gregoire,

Your're right about batch smart campaigns, but I wanted to add an existing triggered smart campaign to the calendar.  I thought that since you can create a 'Scheduled Smart Campaign with no Send Email flow step' System Entry Type directly in the calendar on the desired day, then add a trigger to that smart campaign and the entry stays in the calendar, you could do the converse operation.  Interestingly if you remove the entry from the calendar and then change the smart campaign to a scheduled smart campaign, it is not added back to the calendar.  So the workaround to represent an existing triggered smart campaigns on the calendar, is to just create a basic entry with a custom icon.

HI Again Elliott,

On the other end, a triggered campaign does not really have a firing date, only an activation date

If one day we can schedule the activation and deactivation of the triggered campaign that would be interesting if the activation period shows up on the calendar.
