Normalizing lead score

Hi everyone,
This may have come up in the community already, but I couldn't find anything. If there is a discussion already out there, please send me the link. 🙂

We are currently normalizing/trimming our lead scores so that no one has a score over 100 pts. We are evaluating our lead scoring to optimize this process. I'm on the fence on this subject and know there are pros and cons to both. Does anyone have some information/pros/cons/strategies you're using that might be helpful? Also, we have Sales Insight and wanted to know if trimming scores like this would have any negative effect on the algorithm used in determining stars and flames?

Thanks in advance for your input!

Re: Normalizing lead score

If you are normalizing all the scores equally, then the relative scores won't change - that's what's used in Sales Insight.

As for actually doing this? It depends how you've set it up and what the thresholds are. Usually I do not use a 0-100 scale, but it could be useful to do this if you can set it up right.
