Due to a merger we've just recently started going to market under a new name and I'm discovering that for some people, emails are not being delivered or are being quarantined.
For the time being, we've continued using old company email aliases (ex: @OldCo.com) as the 'From' and 'Reply-to' , since we haven't yet set up another branded sender domain (Would email be more likely be treated as spam if the sender's email domain is not the one in our Marketo account or the sender is not a user of our Marketo account? )
Realizing that spam filters look at IPs, domain names, content, and coding as email is being delivered, is there anything we can do on our end to mitigate chances of email being quarantined or going to Junk/Spam?
Can a sender name impact deliverability? We're currently using 'NewCo Name (Formerly OldCo Name)' - do you see anything wrong with this sender name from a deliverability standpoint?
Does Marketo consider an email that's been sent to a junk/spam folder delivered? What's considered delivered in Marketo?
