Want to run a lead through an engagement multiple times

Is there any way to run a lead through an engagement multiple times? I know most want to avoid that, but we're looking for a way to allow it. Is that possible?

To clarify....we would want to send the same email in the engagement multiple times to the same lead.

Thanks!

The easiest way to accomplish this would be to create duplicate versions of the same email. Marketo knows not to send the 'same' email not by its content, but by its ID. But, I would strongly recommend modifying the emails in some way unless there's a specific use case you're going for!

+1 on Dory.

BUT, WHY are you trying to do this? Is it for a specific email or onboarding system? Is it that you want to recycle if the lead never makes it to MQL?

The answer will depend on what you say.

Why indeed! Short answer, because our client wants that ability. Longer answer, the program is targeting churn customers. If they reactivate and then end up churning again, they would like them to go through the engagement again. There wouldn't be a limit to the number of times they could churn, reactivate, and churn again.

Another use case is to reactivate dormant leads. people set a series of 3/4 emails max and send them to leads that had no activity in the past 4 months. But it might happen that the person has to go through this multiple times during he customer lifetimes (they have had leads in the DB for years and these buy something once or twice a year, then turn back to sleep).

And yet, although the program is revisited every six months, not all the emails are replaced.
