Nurture Sending - Stream Schedule vs. Campaign Schedule

Hello All,

I am curious if someone could help me understand what actually drives when a nurture email is sent.

There is the setting on the stream cadence below:

nurture 1.PNG

Then there is also the schedule recurrence option on schedule tab for the batch campaign.

nurture 2.PNG

And then the Smart Campaign settings within that tab.

nurture 3.PNG

With so many options for dates and times, I am not sure what is doing what and any clarification as so the order of how things needs to be set to a nurture campaign to weekly that would be great.

Cheers,

Will

The Cadence on the Nurture Stream is when the emails will be sent.

You don't activate a 'send' smart campaign within a program if you're putting it into a nurture stream.  The nurture controls the send I believe.

Yes, so as you have it set up right now, every Thursday at 3:35PM PDT, the leads in "Stream 1" will receive one of those 5 emails. If they haven't received any, they will receive the first email listed top to bottom.

Julz has you sorted, but you can also see the whole process in action here: Marketo-Fu - Episode 24: A/B Testing in Engagement Programs - YouTube

note: the use case is slightly customized around a/b testing in engagement programs, but it'll confirm how to set up the cadence and program controlling smart campaign for programs embedded in a stream.

If it doesn't look cool, you're probably doing it wrong.

Your last two screenshots show the batch campaign to get members added to your Engagement Program.  This has nothing to do with the stream cadence.  What Juli said.
