Field_Integrity_Exception Issue

Hello!  I am running into an issue with a particular campaign.  When I uploaded the CSV file to the folder in Marketo (yes, I have triple checked the format), then I run a batch to sync to SFDC, I get the following error message:

Failed: FIELD_INTEGRITY_EXCEPTION: There's a problem with this country, even though it may appear correct. Please select a country/territory from the list of valid countries.: Country

This is due to the fact that, for some reason, the country is being changed from United States (correct) to USA (incorrect).  I don't know why this is happening.  I ran a campaign to "Mass Update" all USA instances to United States, but was unsuccessful.

I did, however, go into Marketo and change the USA to United States directly in the Lead Record, then Synced to SFDC, and that worked.

Hopefully someone out there has an answer to this!

Dave

Re: Field_Integrity_Exception Issue

Hi David,

Country picklist is enabled on your SFDC instance. As a consequence, SFDC will reject any record which country does not belong to the list  and therefore, you will have to make sure that countries are set correctly everywhere in Marketo, and especially:

  • in forms
  • in data management campaigns
  • in imports

You need to investigate the activity log of your lead to find the origin of the issue. Either a datavalue change on the country happened and set the value to USA, and the Activity log will give you the faulty smart campaign or this will be set in the "fills out form" that created the lead and you will have to correct the stored values of the picklist in the form.
