Seeking top-notch professional marketing automation and direct mail administrator who can plan, manage and execute a variety of global communications for Cisco’s Corporate Social Responsibility organization. Content includes but is not exclusive to the Cisco Networking Academy community of 1 million students and 20 thousand instructors in 170 countries. This role will work with and occasionally lead cross-functional teams to advise and consult on best practices for effective automated and direct mail communications.

Responsibilities:

Marketo Administrator
• Administration of the Marketo Tool to efficiently deploy Corporate Affairs communications to target audiences
• Develop a communications program for Corporate Affairs and Networking Academy from strategy to process to execution
• Be the primary contact and training mentor for publishers using marketo
• Be the primary interface with communication tool vendor to troubleshoot, resolve any problems, outages, maintenance requests
• Execute all activities related to sending out communications, i.e. author/publish internal and external communications to support Networking Academy
• Proactively keep all content publishers informed and drive stakeholder management for any critical changes in direction and system changes that can affect their work
• Monitor usage to ensure a positive customer experience with communication cadence 
• Provide reporting metrics quarterly on tool usage
• Produce deliverables as needed such as status reports, quarterly ops review metrics and updates to keep management informed on state of communication program

WebEx Social Administrator
• Develop internal presence on Cisco Web Ex Social (WXS) for Corporate Affairs marketing and NetAcad marketing
• Execute plan, maintain WXS content on an ongoing basis, monitor pages for feedback
• Gather and report on traffic and usage metrics
• Produce deliverables as needed such as status reports, quarterly ops review metrics and updates to keep management informed on state of communication program



Required Skills/Capabilities
• Self-starter, can work independently, and proactively able to resolve issues, take ownership for tool and process
• Extensive experience working with Marketo to execute marketing programs and communications in an automated fashion, and using meaningful reporting to show status 
• Significant direct mail marketing experience
• Extreme attention to detail and organized
• Solid analytical skills
• Willingness to learn new skills 
• Pride in work as first line of editorial review to ensure accurate quality communications 
• Able to work with and influence diverse cross-organization teams to provide best practices in direct mail marketing guidance
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically to deliver results
• Excellent stakeholder management, time management and prioritization skills
• PowerPoint skills essential
• HTML knowledge 

Desired Skills/Capabilities:
• Liferay web content management a plus
• Editorial experience a plus
• Creative/graphics design 
• BS/BA or equivalent plus 5 years experience
