Activate the integration Marketo-LiveEngage ?

So I signed up for a demo with LiveEngage to check their integration with Marketo, as mentioned in Launchpoint website...

but the only thing I can see is in LiveEngage is the tag to put on the pages. I cant fin another way to use it and I can't fin a tutorial about this.

What am I missing?

I've used (to my chagrin) LiveEngage as a trigger for Marketo LP overlays, which is, AFAIK, still what they're talking about when they say "integration." It's a near-disaster.

That said, all the config you need should be on the LE side. The idea is that LE supplies "intelligent" mouse and navigation tracking and triggers an overlay, while Marketo supplies the form.

The problem (well, one of them) is they have no understanding of Marketo forms, so they actually use an entire iframed LP.

If I sound harsh, it's because I've been there and been disappointed by 'em.

That's terrible, so there no chat solution that actually works with Marketo?

With Pardot at least we had Olark so a chat operator was able to push the lead info directly to Pardot, right in the chat session using the Pardot tokens. It was really useful and we didnt miss any lead conversions from Chats, I'm looking for something similar that works with Marketo.

Oh, I don't mean it couldn't be integrated. It just isn't integrated at the form-to-lead level, or not even at the barebones form level.

If you use the Forms 2.0 API and have a developer who knows her/his way around, it can be done.
