Deleted records recreated from Dynamics after a new field added

We are suddenly seeing a large number of records being created in Marketo from MS Dynamics. The records in MS Dynamics are old and have not been touched in a while. The access level for the sync user has not changed. Do you have any idea why we would suddenly get the records synchronized? Some, perhaps all, of those records have been previously deleted from Marketo.

The only change we made is adding two new fields to Dynamics and synchronizing those to Marketo.

Hi Pavel,

Since the last version of MS Dynamics, a new mechanism that resync all records when a new field is added has been implemented. This is made to ease the population of the values of these new fields in Marketo. I suspects this mechanism is responsible for this.

Now, in oder to avoid this, you should implement a sync filter (see Create a Custom Dynamics Sync Filter - Marketo Docs - Product Docs) and pay attention that, when you want to stop syncing a record, you need to do it from Marketo.
