Alok, I was thinking the same thing about promotions yesterday... Maybe Announcements would make sense?

Hi Alok!

I have a question about something you/Grazitti Interactive did. I was going to respond via the confirmation message, but it had a "donotreply" email address....

Anyways, after I registered for your webinar, I was showing my coworker your thank you page and telling her what I liked about it. (We're currently working on updating our landing pages, so we're constantly looking at what everyone has out there.) So I she clicked on the link for the TY page and it went directly to the main landing page with the form fill out. Bypassing the TY page and making her fill out a form first. I also tested it in another browser and it did the same thing for me. This is REALLY COOL! How did you get your TY landing page to know that they haven't filled out the form yet, to show the main landing page with the form? Is it pure magic? 🙂

Any tips are appreciated!
Many thanks,
Sara

Hey Alok,

We are making big strides for the future of community and having a section for promotions is being considered. There just needs to be an appropriate place for customers to promote webinars and events that could help our customers become better marketers. We currently don't have that capability so we  generally discourage promotions as they can clutter discussions.

If you have questions let me know, I'd be happy to chat.

Best,
Liz

Hi Sara,

I am glad you liked what we did with the thanks page. That is quite possible in Marketo with some custom coding. It will ensure that even if direct link of your asset or even the thanks page goes public, the users will have to fill in the form to access the gated content.
Moreover, if your users have filled 1st form and are cookied in browser, by default Marketo will allow them to access the thanks page. However, with some custom coding, you can ensure that your content can be accessed, only when someone fills the form and not just by directly clicking on the link.
