Smart List - Resend Email but exclude leads that already opened previous email

Hello,

I sent an intro email to 1000 leads. 100 of those leads opened the email. I want to resend the intro email back to the 900 that did not open the 1st email. For bonus points, I also would like to extract the 100 that opened the email and move them forward to the next email, say email #2.

I cloned the intro email program, called it resend intro. Now in the smart list, how do I set it up to get a list of the 900 people to resend the email too?

Use the Inactivity Filter "Not Opened Email" and specify your email there.

I do not have the "not opened email" option. I do have the "Not opened sales email" option. Are these the same or is there a difference between a "email" and a "sales email"?

Your way is easier. While waiting I think I might have found another way as well. I chose "member of smart list" and then found the smart list I made that showed me who opened the email on the first campaign, and chose lead: not in. Would this work as well?

Hmm, Filters --> Inactivity Filters --> Email --> "Not Opened Email" is not there? "Not opened Sales Email" is in the folder "Salesforce", so that would not be the place to look.

But yes, your Smart List should work fine as well. But I'd still contact support. Can't imagine that filter is tied to certain Marketo contracts.
