Are unsubscribes considered "clicks" when doing A/B testing?

We have an A/B test underway with the following results so far:

When looking at the "clicks" in the Members tab, there is no data.  Yet, the dashboard indicates two clicks.  Does Marketo consider clicks on the unsubscribe link as clicks that are evaluated in an A/B test?  If so, this isn't consistent with how Marketo tracks this behavior outside of A/B tests.

Re: Are unsubscribes considered "clicks" when doing A/B testing?

Thanks Juan.  I figured out the issue.  And no, unsubscribe clicks are not considered normal clicks when evaluating A/B tests.  The issue is that we didn't include the URL parameters as part of the "clicks link" trigger in the smart list.  For the "Clicks link in Email" trigger (and filter), you must include the FULL URL, rather than just the base URL.  See more detail in this thread: URL values in smart lists that include querystrings/URL parameters

Hi Dan

Very Good Question!

I am not sure 100%, Try to run an Email Link Performance Report. From the "Setup" tab in the Report, select the email you'd like to investigate. This will show you which links were clicked on & you should be able to see the answer there.

Please let us know!
