My very disappointing experience with the Marketo Certification Exam.

I agree with the need for some type of feedback after the exam. I would have liked to have known what I got wrong so I could learn from it. I did pass, but it would have been helpful to know nonetheless.

When will we be receiving 'badges' or other items for use in our LinkedIn profile and resumes?  How else can we promote ourselves? Is Marketo planning to announce the new certified experts in any way?

  • still 100 questions in 90 min
  • multiple choice
  • has more how to do X questions and screenshots
  • does discuss Calendar and other core features
  • is still easy if you have daily exp for 6 months.

I'm happy to read these responses i had an awful experience twice. I missed the last time by 2% . I agree we should know which questions we got wrong so we can study those areas better. I went in thinking I would pass with flying colors. I passed the practice exam 3 times the same week i took the exam with scores of 95, 97 and 98. There is so much discrepancy between the product docs and the practice test. Any advise here?

The practice exam has been updated since last year and much more reflective of the current exam. If you are using all core concepts of Marketo daily, you should have no problem passing. I still set aside a month doing a weekly study session with my team just to ensure we knew all available features before taking the exam. You never know what you can learn by going back to basics I also highly recommend a group study session!
