Creating a "preference" center with notification of every email sent from marketo

We are attempting to create a customer preference center via SSO outside of our marketo instance. Our subscription lists will live in Marketo but we want to house all emails sent out of marketo in a "notification center" within our customer portal. Has anyone tried to do this before? essentially with need a carbon copy of every email that goes out of marketo, unique to the users that receive it, in their own portal.

we have talked through using an alert, but that would mean marketo would send two of every email that goes out (one to the user and one to the users portal) and we have discussed using a hidden script to capture unique information about a user to capture the content of the email.

thoughts? does this make sense?

Hi Nathan,

That's a very tricky one. The only idea I see is to ask the support to activate the BCC feature. It's more intended as a system to log every email for compliance reasons, but it do the trick for you. You will have to set a unique, instance-wide, email address and all emails sent out will be copied to that address. From there, your portal will have to extract the email and upload it to the server OR to leverage the view as web page link in the email to copy the content and archive it.
